Holdem Manager 3 has full support for PokerStars Cash out hand histories. All frequency stats that consider hand strength (i.e. Won At Showdown % ) are not impacted by cash outs.
Database upgrade and Importing Cash out hand histories
- Holdem Manager 3 PokerStars cash out support requires a database upgrade that will automatically be initiated when opening a database. After the update completes, cash out hand histories can be imported and results tracked in the reports.
- If you would like to import cash out hands played before you upgraded your database, you can import them from your HM3 or HM2 Archive folders for August and September. (Default September location: C:\HM3Archive\PokerStars\2019\09 for hands from September 2019)
Reports
There are now variations of net won stats (based on your preference for including or excluding cash outs) that can be added to reports via the Stat Selector - Book Icon (FAQ):
Includes Cash outs:
- Net Won - Player's net winnings including the cash outs
- Net Won bb - Player's win rate per bb including the cash outs.
- bb/100 - Player's win rate in bb per 100 hands including cash outs.
Excludes Cash Outs:
- Net Won Hand - Player's winnings at the table based solely on hand strength.
- Net Won Hand bb - Player's bb per hand results based solely on hand strength.
- Hand bb/100 - Player's win rate in bb per 100 hands based solely on hand strength.
New Cash Out Specific Stats:
- Cash out % - Percentage of time that player cashes out when all-in
- Cash out Diff - Difference between winnings including the cash outs and winnings if hands were played out; Positive value means that cash out winnings were higher than winnings if hands were played out normally.
Hand View Columns
There are new columns available that can be added Settings > Hand View Column (FAQ) to hand view below the reports:
- Net Won - Player's winnings in the hand including the cash outs
- Net Won Hand - Player's winnings in the hand if it was normally played out, ignoring the cash outs
- Net Won (bb) - Player's winnings in the hand including the cash outs (in big blinds)
- Net Won Hand (bb) - Player's winnings at the table if hand was normally played out, ignoring the cash outs (in big blinds)
- Cash Out - Cashed out amount
- Cash Out Diff - Difference between winnings including the cash outs and winnings if hand was played out; Positive value means that cash out winnings were higher than winnings if hand was played out normally.
Hand Viewer
The hand viewer now displays winnings after cashouts. However, the hand viewer tooltip on players winnings in the Showdown section will display the breakdown of the impact of cashouts on the winnings.
Replayer
The Replayer is not changed when viewing the actions in the hand. An additional Replayer step has been added at the end of the hand which details cashout related information in text form.
Filters
Two cashout specific filters are available using the filter bar:
- To see hands where cashout occurred (by any player in the hand), use this filter: "isCashout=true"
- To see hands where you have cashed out yourself, filter for hands with cashout amounts above 0: "CashoutAmount>0"
Opponents List
New stats have been added to view cashout related winnings:
- Net Won - Player's winnings at the tables including the cashouts
- Net bb Won - Player's winnings at the tables including the cashouts (in big blinds)
- Net Won Hand - Player's winnings at the table if hand was normally played out, ignoring the cashouts
- Net bb Won Hand - Player's winnings at the table if hand was normally played out, ignoring the cashouts (in big blinds)
