Heads-up: An upcoming release of Holdem Manager 3 moves to .NET 10. As part of that change, support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 will end, and the minimum hardware requirements are increasing. If you are on an older system, we recommend upgrading to Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11 ahead of this release. The current version of HM3 continues to run on older systems until then.
Computer Hardware
- Minimum Requirement: A Windows 11–compatible 64-bit processor (Intel Core 8th generation or newer, or AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer) with at least 4 cores, and 8GB of RAM.
- Recommended: A recent Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 (or better), with 16GB of RAM.
- Optimal: Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7 (or better), with 32GB of RAM or greater.
Operating System
- Minimum Requirement: Windows 10 64-bit, version 1809 or later (the October 2018 Update).
- Recommended: Windows 11 64-bit.
- Also supported: Windows on ARM (ARM64) — including Windows 11 ARM running in virtualization, such as Parallels on Apple Silicon (M1 and newer) Macs.
Hard Drive
- The number one factor for speed performance is hard drive speed. A Solid State Drive (SSD) is strongly recommended — an NVMe SSD is best. Mechanical hard drives are no longer recommended; if one must be used, it should be 7200RPM or faster.
